One of the best aspects here is that there is a full schedule of classes that are completely free for all members.
Free? That’s right, free! As a member of the Villages of Citrus Hills, you are welcome to attend any of the classes at the BellaVita Fitness Center. These classes come in all types and sizes, but they generally last about an hour and fill up on a first-come, first-serve basis.
And when we say that there are all types and sizes of fitness classes, we really mean it! Check out some of the most popular options that are available at BellaVita on a weekly basis:
Spinning Classes
Whether you are an early riser or an evening exerciser, one of the most popular classes across the board at BellaVita is the Spinning Class. These involve exercise bike workouts that implement a variety of hand positions and movements that are designed to emphasize cardio and strengthen legs.
Spinning Classes are available at 7:30 am on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, as well as 5:30 pm on Mondays through Thursdays. There is also an 8 am Spinning Class on Saturday morning for anyone who doesn’t like the idea of taking the weekend off.
Yoga Classes
The past few years have brought us a dramatic increase in the popularity of all types of yoga, and there are a few different class options available for a wide range of experience levels. The standard stretching and breathing is available on Tuesday afternoons at 3 pm.
There is also Power Yoga and Restorative Yoga classes available for anyone looking for a more specific focus in their breathing and stretching exercises. You might also want to check out the Gentle & Healing Yoga on Saturday mornings at 10 am.
Boot Camp
If you are looking for something a bit more rigorous, then the Boot Camps on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings at 7:45 am are going to be right up your alley. These cross training classes use aerobics and strength training to develop and improve cardiovascular and muscle conditioning.
Pilates
Another popular form of exercise available at the Villages of Citrus Hills is Pilates. If 11:45 am fits your schedule, you can learn the Principles of Pilates on Mondays, experience the Ball & Barre workout on Wednesdays, and workout with the Back, Booty, Abs of Steel class on Fridays.
Each of these Pilates classes has a different focus, which keeps your exercise routine fresh and exciting. That will make you three times more likely to keep coming back for more as your body gets into better shape.
Line Dancing
You might not expect to find dance classes at a fitness center, but BellaVita caters to many preferences…and the line dancing classes are extremely popular. There are multiple options for line dancing classes on Monday evenings and Thursday and Friday mornings that range from beginner lessons to intermediate and advanced lessons.
As if all of this wasn’t enough, the BellaVita Fitness Center also offers classes that utilize the pool, Zumba classes, and circuit training classes.
No matter what level of experience you have with any of these exercise programs, there is something for everyone at BellaVita!
