As Valentine’s Day weekend quickly approaches, the couples at the Villages of Citrus Hills will be putting in a little bit of extra effort to make sure that their partner feels extra appreciated on the big day.
We’ve come up with some creative ideas for going all-out for your significant other this Valentine’s Day. Whether you’re looking for a romantic evening or just a quiet night in we’ve got some great ideas.
Sunset Dinner

Reservations at one of the restaurants on the water is always nice, but including dinner at any of your favorite spots with a sunset stroll before or after makes a perfect Valentine’s date.
Museum Field Trip
Another idea is taking a field trip to one of the many local museums or art galleries. This makes Valentine’s Day weekend a great excuse to get out and see some of the really interesting local museums that you wouldn’t think to visit on a normal weekend.
And of course, you can always pair that museum field trip with a romantic dinner reservation.
Romantic Picnic for Two

Pizza and Netflix
Every couple has different levels of romance in their relationship at different stages of life. So you might find that relaxing at home, ordering a pizza, and pulling up a good movie on Netflix would make both of you very happy.
Netflix has romantic movies available in honor of Valentine’s Day, so maybe check out 50 First Dates, Hitch, Serendipity, Grease, or Ghost. Pick one of those classics with a great pizza from one of our local establishments and you’ll be set for a great night at home.
Citrus Hills Restaurant Specials
Another option is to stay close to home and attend one of our own Valentine’s Day specials at either Skyview Restaurant or The Grille.
Skyview Restaurant has a Surf and Turf option on their menu along with Gulf Grouper and more. For dessert enjoy the Towering Chocolate Fountain and the Bananas Foster Flambé station.
Over at The Grille on Sunday they will be serving Pan-seared Filet and Veal Medallions, Prime Rib and much more. For dessert the chef is serving House-Made desserts.
No matter where you plan to spend your Valentine’s Day the most important thing to remember is to let your significant other know how much you care about them. And it doesn’t really matter where you are when you do that.
