Plans have been finalized for what will be an outstanding lineup of entertainment here at the Villages of Citrus Hills. Our show season begins in November and runs into April. Each year the lineup of talent gets better and better.
Nicholle Fernandez, Event Coordinator at the Villages of Citrus Hills, said, "This season we have entertainment that is sure to please! We offer three distinct series that include Big Show, Special Performance Concerts and our Comedy Cabaret. The shows take place either in the Activity Center Auditorium, or in the Hampton Room at The Grille restaurant."
The Big Show Series "Really Big Shew" will host Herman's Hermits: Featuring Peter Noone. These British icons had such singable hits as Mrs Brown, No Milk Today and I'm Into Something Good. The season begins November 19th with Badfinger the 60s British Rock and Roll band, and will be followed by Mitch Ryder & The Detroit Wheels, Shadows of the 60s: Tribute to The Four Tops, Lady Legends of Rock & Roll with Peggy March, Barbara Lewis and The Chiffons, Never Stop Believin': Tribute to Journey, and The Brooklyn Bridge. Herman's Hermits closes this series on April 10th.
The Special Performance Concert Series offers six shows including Harmonious Wail, Tampa Bay Heralds of Harmony, Rat Pack Now, The Big, Bad, Blues Band, Ring of Fire:Tribute to Johnny Cash, and back by popular demand, Battle of the Saxes featuring music from the 40s, 50s, and 60s by The Three Tenors with Jeff Rupert, John Orsini and Terry Meyers and The Johny Carlsson Trio.
For those who love a good laugh there will be a six show series featuring the comedy of some of the country's top comedians including Max Winfrey as seen on America's Got Talent and Marion Grodin, the daughter of Charles Grodin!
